Description
The DC breaker is the emergency shutoff in your solar power system. As in the case of overloading, short-circuit, or any other malfunction, it trips automatically, disconnecting the power to the part through which the fault current is flowing, so no further damage can occur.
In DC circuits, current flows in one direction at all times; therefore, DC breakers must be equipped with specialised arc-suppression technology to safely interrupt that flow.
